2017 AoC Awards
We are pleased to announce that entry for the ninth Academy of Chocolate Awards is now open..
The Awards attract entries from producers all over the world and recognise some of the world's finest chocolates. They are judged by the Academy of Chocolate and by a panel of international journalists, chefs, pastry chefs and experts in chocolate and food.
The judges will pay particular attention to the appearance, depth of aroma, flavour, length and complexity of the chocolate. The winners of Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards will be announced at the end of April. A Golden Bean may be awarded to the best bean to bar chocolate within the Bean to Bar Categories. If a winning chocolate is made in partnership, e.g., between a grower and a manufacturer, each will be awarded a Golden Bean. Golden Bean winners and any Special Awards will be announced at the Awards Party later in the year.
Feedback will be available on request from mid-May.
